The suspended Zamfara State chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Colonel Bala Mande (retd.), says his position is intact.
Mande told The PUNCH that his purported sack was a mere drama by mischief makers.
The state’s PDP Publicity Secretary, Abba Bello, had on Wednesday, announced Mande’s suspension over alleged anti-party activities.
However, the former military officer said he still performing his functions as the party chairman.
He said, “I am still the PDP chairman in Zamfara State and I am currently in Kebbi State for an assignment given to me by the party.
“I know some people who are behind this drama and I will brief you further when I return from Kebbi State.”
