Popular Yoruba activist, Sunday Igboho has alleged that the Sarkin Fulani of Oyo State, Alhaji Salihu Abdulkadir, conspired with kidnappers to collect ransom.
Igboho made the accusation on Monday while featuring on Rave FM in Osogbo, Osun state.
Igboho who allegedly mastermind the recent attack on Fulani communities which led to the death of two people and several houses burnt, told the anchor that he would visit all states in the South West geo-political to sack all the Fulani herders residing in the areas.
The Sarkin Fulani, however, denied the allegation.
He said he had never at any time negotiated ransoms with kidnappers.
“Let them present their evidence. They had been saying this before, and I have responded to their baseless claims on several radio programmes,” Abdulkadir said.
“Let them provide the evidence to the police and let police take action if it is true.
“I have been aiding the security agencies in tackling kidnapping in the area.”
