Mr Ibrahim Musa Gusau has been elected as the 40th President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF).
He was elected on Friday at NFF’s 78th Elective Congress in Benin, the Edo State capital.
Mr Gusau garnered 21 votes to defeat his closet challenger, Barrister Seyi Akinwunmi, who polled 12.
The second runner-up, erstwhile League Management Committee Chairman, Shehu Dikko, got six votes.
Mr Gusau is taking over from Amaju Pinnick, whose tenure was marred by controversies and sleaze allegations.
