The Ibrahim Babangida University, Lapai, Niger State and an Abuja-based Isu Media, are set to sign a Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) on ways to enhance cultural heritage in the state.
Managing Director of Isu Media, Odoh Diego Okenyodo disclosed this in a statement.
He said the MoU would be signed at a date to be announced after due review of the intricacies of the proposal by both organisations.
The meeting which was at the instance of the University’s Centre for Arts and Indigenous Studies, was in furtherance of the collaborative talks between the Centre and Isu Media Limited.
Okenyodo said during a visit to the center discussions were held on how to harness possible areas of communication with the Centre which would in turn lead to the signing of the MoU.
Okenyodo said Isu Media is interested in providing support to the centre for digital documentation of cultural heritage in the state and to create opportunities that would foster the growth of the centre and the university in general.
Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof. Abu Kasim Adamu said the partnership would be the beginning of good things to come between the university and Isu Media.
