All Progressives Congress (APC)’s national leader and its presidential aspirant, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu says he was instrumental to the emergence of Dr Kayode Fayemi as governor of Ekiti State.
He also said he helped former governor of Osun and Ondo States, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, Dr Olusegun Mimiko realised their political aspirations.
He disclosed this at the palace of the Deji of Akure, Ondo State.
He said, “I helped Mimiko got his mandate through court after two years that he was elected. I helped Fayemi get his mandate after three years. It took Aregbesola three years, 10 months, to get his mandate. We have helped many people like that.”
The national leader also visited traditional rulers in the three senatorial district of the state over his presidential ambition.
He said he had helped many people in the country to achieve their political goals, including President Muhammadu Buhari.
