All Progressives Congress (APC)’s acting national chairman and Niger State Governor, Abubakar Sani Bello has denied receiving any letter from Mai Mala Buni to act in his absence.
A letter by Buni, transmitting the functions of his office as the national chairman of the Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee to Bello was circulated on Thursday following the controversy that trailed the emergence of Bello as acting chairman.
The letter dated February 28, 2022, was sent to Bello and other members of the caretaker committee before his departure.
But addressing a press conference in Abuja on Thursday, the Niger State governor denied receiving the letter.
“No, I haven’t seen it yet,” he said.
