Hunters in Kogi State have arrested four bandits in a raid on their camp in Osara in Okehi local government area of the state.
They also destroyed a marijuana farm allegedly belonging to the assailants.
The chairman of local government , Abdulraheem Ohiare, confirmed the incident on Sunday.
He said the criminals turned the forest into an Indian hemp farm where they also trained dogs to ward off intruders.
Ohiare said 10 of the guard dogs were killed during the raid.
He said Kogi is a no-go area for criminal elements.
