Bandits have killed the Proprietor and Managing Director of MSK Hospital, retired Air Vice Marshal (AVM) Mohammed Maisaka, at his residence in Makarfi road, Rigasa, Kaduna State.
21st CENTURY CHRONICLE gathered that Maisaka was killed alongside his driver when the assailants stormed his home at about 10 pm on Monday evening.
AVM Maisaka was a former Director, Medical Training Operations at the Defence Headquarters, Abuja.
He was also Director of the Nigerian Air Force Medical Services.
Maisaka had been paralyzed from a medic condition for about 3 years and had been in rehabilitation until he was killed on Monday.
Spokesperson of Kaduna Police Command, Muhammad Jalige, confirmed the incident on Tuesday.
Jalige said the incident occurred in the early hours of Tuesday, adding that Maisaka’s gateman sustained injury from the attack.
He said Maisaka’s body has been evacuated to the hospital and the gateman has also been rushed to the hospital for treatment.
Jalige said details of the incident would be made available soon.
