Famous Kannywood comedian and actor Ali Muhammed Idris Artwork popularly known as Madagwal has revealed that he was bewitched in dumping his Kwankwasiyya camp to join Gandujiya in Kano state politics.
The comedian made this known while reacting to Kwankwasiyya fans comments on social media indicating that the comedian will not be accepted back should he decide to make a u-turn now that the state has been won. The fans claimed that the comedian has made several derogative acts and comments on them and their principal subject.
Madagwal took to his verified facebook page to claim that people should understand that he was bewitched and therefore should be excused. “I was bewitched that was why I joined the other group but I am lucky to have regained my senses after a series of prayers and spiritual healing processes. It is clear that I have been part and parcel of Kwankwasiyya since 2019,” he said.
Madagwal had made a u-turn after Kwankwasiyya led party NNPP was declared winner of the state 2023 gubernatorial elections and it was reported that his attempt to rejoin the movement met a strong resistance from members of Kwankwasiyya for his active engagement with Gandujiyya.
