A Federal Road Safety Corps personnel, name withheld, has been killed by an unknown truck driver along Hotoro ring-road expressway in Kano State.
An eyewitness said the safety personnel was hit while trying to stop the driver on the highway.
He said the driver was making an attempt to stop the vehicle when he suddenly accelerated it and hit the road safety officer in the process.
The Kano Public Relations Officer of the FRSC, Muhammad Mu’awiyya, confirmed the incident.
