The first batch of Nigerian pilgrims would depart Nigeria for Saudi Arabia on June 9, the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has said.
The commission disclosed this at the signing of 2022 hajj airlift agreement by appointed hajj air carriers on Friday in Abuja.
Chairman of NAHCON, Zikirullah Hassan, who revealed this said the commission has made adequate preparation for the pilgrims during the period.
Mr Zikrullah said Azman Air, Max Air and Flynas Airlines are the three airlines selected for the 2022 Hajj operation.
