A police officer has been killed and a Chinese expatriate principal at Aqua Triton Company kidnapped by gunmen in the Ogunmakin Area of Ibadan, Oyo State.
The state Police spokesperson, Olayinka Ayanlade, said on Saturday in Ibadan.
Ayanlade said the gunmen invaded the facility in a commando-style operation and killed the officer while repelling attack.
He said “a bush-combing operation is ongoing, and a full investigation has been launched to ensure the safe rescue of the victim and the arrest and prosecution of the perpetrators.”
