The Nasarawa State Chairman of Miyetti Allah Cattle Breeders Association, Alhaji Mohammed Hussain and Toto local government counterpart, Mohammed Umar, were killed on Friday by gunmen.
The spokesperson of the state Police Command Ramham Nansel confirmed the report in a statement on Saturday.
He said the incident happened at about 7pm on Friday at Garaku market.
Nansel said corpses of the victims have been recovered and taken to the hospital.
