A police station in Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, has ben attacked by gunmen on Monday.
The assailants freed all the detainees at the station.
They also burnt down patrol vehicles found at the station.
Security formations and federal institutions have been attacked recently by the proscribed Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) across the Southeast.
The spokesperson of Ebonyi police command, Loveth Odah, has confirmed the attack but provided no details.
Dozens security formations and INEC offices have been torched by the outlawed group since January 2021.
