While contrasting his time at Barcelona to his time at Manchester City, the German midfielder acknowledged that because Barcelona is still in the process of rebuilding, he might not be able to win the Champions League in consecutive seasons. However, he did point out that despite the team’s recent lack of trophy success, they have nonetheless played entertaining football that merits praise.
