The Premier League leaders defeated the current European champions 4-0 on Wednesday at the Etihad Stadium, securing a meeting with Inter in Istanbul on June 10. City easily defeated Real thanks to their dominance throughout, although demanding manager Guardiola lost his cool with stalwart midfielder De Bruyne once in the second half because the Belgian playmaker wasted a chance. De Bruyne was seen on CCTV yelling “shut up, shut up” back in the direction of the City bench after taking offense to his manager’s comments on the touchline.
When De Bruyne took exception to his manager’s remarks on the sidelines, he was captured on camera saying “shut up, shut up” back in the direction of the city bench.
