Golden Eaglets thrashed Guatemala 5-1 on Thursday to record their second straight win in the UEFA/CAF Tournament in Turkey.
The big win underlines the Nigeria U17s’ readiness for next month’s World Cup in Brazil.
Olakunle Olusegun scored the second goal of the competition after just five minutes, before Abdullahi Fawaz made it 2-0 in the 10th minute.
David Oduko increased Nigeria’s lead in the 17th minute and Akinwunmi Amoo made it 4-0 on 24 minutes.
Guatemala pulled a goal back after half an hour.
Ibraheem Jabaar netted the Eaglets fifth goal six minutes from time.
The U17s will play their final game on Thursday against Senegal.
