A seven-year-old boy was killed in a gas explosion in Kaduna.
The incident happaned at Unguwar Sanusi Kaduna when the gas cylinder exploded.
21st CENTURY CHRONICLE also learnt that 10 others, particularly children, were critically injured due to the explosion.
The incident occurred few minutes to Magrib prayer (evening prayer) on Monday.
Eyewitnesses said the gas repairer was connecting the cylinder in the house when it exploded.
It was not clear what actually led to the explosion.
“Nine children were affected one of them died. The deceased mother and the man repairing the cylinder were among the injured,” a family source said.
The father to one of the victims, Malam Usman said the injured have been taken to hospital.
