England manager in Euros 2024, Gareth Southgate, has resigned from his role as head coach.
Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano announced this via X on Tuesday.
According to the post by Romano, Southgate said, “As proud Englishman, it has been the honour of my life to play for England and to manage England. It has meant everything to me, and I have given it my all.
“But it’s time for change, and for a new chapter. I’m leaving my role.”
England scored one goal to lose to Spain with two goals in the final game of Euros 2024.
