The resignation of the Managing Director of Kano Roads Traffic Agency (KAROTA), Baffa Babba Dan-Agundi, has been rejected by the Kano State Government
Dan-Agundi tendered his resignation letter to the acting Governor Alhaji Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna on Monday, but Governor Abdullahi Ganduje who is on leave in the United Arab Emirates directed the acting governor to reject the letter.
Dan-Agundi told a local newspaper that that “you see the governor is not only my boss, but like a father to me, hence I have to take whatever he tells me.
“Governor Ganduje is the same person that gave me this position of Managing Director that has improved my status politically.’’
“Honestly, I will not go contrary to whatever decision the governor made on my resignation because he knows the best for me.”
Dan-Agundi said “I want to further my political ambition of contesting, but all that has to wait for the decision of the governor.”
