Kidnappers have seized four students of the Federal University, Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA), residing in the Paris Quarters area of Dutsin-Ma in Katsina State.
An anonymous local revealed that the bandits, disguised and wielding AK-47 rifles, attacked the institution around 2:20am on Sunday and kidnapped the students.
Security operatives reportedly came to the scene after receiving a distress call, but the attackers had already escaped with their victims.
Neither the state police spokesperson, DSP Abubakar Sadiq, nor government officials had reacted to the incident as at press time.
It is, however, learnt that security agents are on the trail of the gunmen to rescue the kidnapped students unharmed.
