Bandits have kidnapped Sanusi Wanzamai, a former permanent commissoner at the Zamfara State Independent Electoral Commission.
Mr Wanzamai was abducted Monday night, according to sources
Details of his abduction are still sketchy but 21st CENTURY CHRONICLE gathered from reliable sources ithat Mr Wanzamai was abducted alone while he was traveling to Gusau from his community, Wanzamai.
He was abducted on Wanzamai – Tsafe – Gusau road. Wanzamai is few kilometers from Tsafe town.
This is coming few hours after bandits abducted three daughters and domestic staff of a forrmer accountant general of the state, Abubakar Bello Furfuri.
The police command spokesperson, Mohammed Shehu, said he was not aware of the abduction of Wanzamai but promised to investigate.
