Former Managing Director of the defunct National Electric Power Authority (NEPA), Dr. Joseph Makoju, has died at the age of 75, according to his family.
He retired as Group Managing Director/ CEO of Dangote Cement Plc.
Prior to that, he was the MD of the defunct NEPA/Power Holding Company of Nigeria.
Family sources revealed that the former Adviser to Presidents Olusegun Obasanjo and Goodluck Jonathan, died at a private hospital in Abuja on Monday.
He was also the Special Adviser to the President/Chief Executive, Dangote Group.
He was chairman of Cement Manufacturers Association of Nigeria.
