Police have confirmed the abduction of a former member of the Bauchi State House of Assembly, Abdulmumuni Ningi.
Spokesperson of the Bauchi State Police Command, DSP Ahmed Wakili, said the former legislator was kidnapped Thursday night in the state capital.
The abductors reportedly trailed Ningi to his residence around the BSADP area at Isa Yuguda Guest House.
