A fire outbreak has razed the zonal command office of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons and Related Matters (NAPTIP) in Sokoto.
However, a staff of the agency had attributed the fire which started around 1pm on Saturday to an electrical fault.
It was learnt that the fire which raged for three hours, razed down all the offices in the admin block.
It also destroyed valuable items, including cash and important documents.
The site where the agency was keeping suspects and rehabilitated victims was spared by the fire.
It was further learnt that, the 13 people, including victims of suspects were evacuated from the building safely.
