A morning fire outbreak has gutted the Katsina State House of Assembly complex with the main chamber being the worse hit.
21st CENTURY CHRONICLE gathered from sources at the complex that the fire started in the morning around 3am.
The cause of the fire outbreak still remains unknown but sources told this reporter that the complex was empty save for night watchmen.
Finding by this newspaper show that the main chamber of the assembly has been gutted with entrance and some offices attached to the main bowl also affected.
Meanwhile, Governor Aminu Bello Masari has visited the scene of the fire incident this afternoon.
He was conducted round by the Deputy House Leader, Hon. Salisu Hamza Rimaye and Clerk of the House, Yusuf Abdullahi.
The clerk informed the governor that the house has mandated maintenance department to investigate the cause of the outbreak.
