Governor Ahmadu Fintiri of Adamawa State has constituted the state’s 2026 hajj Committee with the Ptil Madagali, Dr Ali Danburam as the Amirul Hajj.
Fintiri’s spokesperson, Humwashi Wonosiki, who announced this on Tuesday, gave the names of the other five-member team as Justice Hapsat Abdulrahman, Deputy Amirul Hajj, Dr Umar Garba Pella and Dr Bashir Imam Aliyu, who are members, while the Secretary is Saad Mailafiya.
The governor congratulated members of the team, saying they were selected based on their proven track record of integrity and religious commitment.
He charged them to prioritise the welfare of all pilgrims to ensure a smooth and successful religious exercise.
