A suspected bomb explosion in Keffi Metropolis, the headquarters of Keffi Local Government Area of Nasarawa State on Sunday, has killed two persons.
The bomb reportedly went off in the early hours of Sunday opposite the General Hospital, along Nasarawa Road-Keffi road
Residents of Keffi surged in their thousands to catch a glimpse of the scene of the two-bedroom residential apartment, which was hit by the explosion.
Those killed in the apartment were two male. occupants of the rented apartment in the area.Some of the residents revealed that victims rented the apartment but they travelled periodically, adding that the victims returned to Keffi from their journey on Saturday afternoon.
Some people said they were on the wanted list of the Department of State Security (DSS) before nemesis caught up with them.
An local said the victims noticed that the DSS operatives had surrounded their house, hence, they had no option rather than to blow off themselves with an explosive.
Security operatives had evacuated the dead bodies.
The Public in the state were yet to issue official statement on the incident as at the time of filing this report.
