Exchange rate for the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) import duty collection has dropped from N1480/$ to N1,327.5/$.
This indicates a 10.34 per cent decline or N153.1 in two days.
The current rate is also the lowest recorded this month and also lower than the official naira to dollar exchange as at Tuesday.
The decline follows the appreciation in the value of the naira since the last meeting of the CBN Monetary Policy Committee (MPC).
The naira has recorded some significant gains, closing at N1,339.33/$ on Tuesday.
