Kwara State Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq says henceforth the government will sanction any school head or official aiding examination malpractice in the state.
The governor said this on Tuesday in a statement by his spokesperson, Rafiu Ajakaye.
The governor’s warning came following the blacklist of 165 Kwara schools by the West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) for alleged involvement in malpractice in 2019 WAEC
The governor expressed sadness over the development, describing it “as unfortunate.”
He added that “the development is the worst in the history of the state.”
The examination body had in January 16, released the list of blacklisted schools across the country, for alleged involvement in malpractice in 2019 WAEC.
