Former Senate President Anyim Pius Anyim says he will join the race for Nigeria’s topmost seat in 2023.
Anyim, who was Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), said he will commence the processes leading to the realisation of his aspiration soon.
He spoke during a solidarity visit by the Igbo Unity Forum (IUF) in Abuja.
The former senate president said he has given the presidential project much thought, adding that there is no better time to actualise his ambition than at time like this when the country is in need of a leader that will save it from collapse.
