Brigadier General Maharazu Ismail Tsiga (rtd) has left the All Progressives Congress [APC] for the New Nigeria Peoples Party NNPP and picked interest and nomination forms to contest for the Katsina South senatorial seat.
Tsiga, who had contested for the same seat in 2019 under APC, said he has finally found the right platform to actualize his dream.
The retired military general said APC has lost its status as the platform that stands for the development of the country, adding that the poor man now knows “the truth”.
He said if elected, NNPP will rejuvenate the country and make things work.
State Chairman of NNPP, Sani Liti Yan Kwani, who was the immediate former special assistant to governor Masari on political affairs, said the party would give PDP and APC a run for their money.
