A former labour minister, Alabo Graham Douglas, is dead.
He died in Abuja in the early hours of Monday, according to an associate.
Douglas was a two-time Minister and a public relations expert.
A Kalabari High Chief in Rivers where the late minister hailed from, Chief Ngo Martins Yellowe, also confirmed the death of the former Minister to our reporter in Port Harcourt, Rivers capital.
Yellowe said the late Minster had been sick for some time.
Douglas was the Minister of Social Development and Aviation during the Ibrahim Babangida administration and served as Minister of Culture and Tourism.
He also served as that of Labour, Employment and Productivity under President Olusegun Obasanjo.
