The mother of former Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Professor Attahiru Jega, is dead.
Hajiya Hauwa Kulu Muhammadu Jega died Friday night in Abuja after a brief illness.
She was 86.
Her funeral prayer would hold at the National Mosque in Abuja on Saturday at 1:30pm.
She would be interred at Gudu Cemetery Abuja after the funeral prayer.
She is survived by many children and grand children that include famous Nigerian journalist, editor and columnist, Malam Mahmud Jega; and Alhaji Abbas Jega, former Executive Director of AMCON, among others.
