The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has brought the former Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Godwin Emefiele, to the Federal High Court, Abuja on Wednesday.
The anti-graft commission obeyed the order as Emefiele was led into the court by heavily armed operatives.
Last week the commission, citing the absence of a relevant paper, had failed to comply with the order of the FHC directing it to produce Emefiele in court on Monday or release him unconditionally.
Following the disobedience by the commission, the court restated its order and adjourned proceedings till Wednesday.
