Seven aspirants have rejected the result of the APC gubernatorial primaries in Ekiti state.
The aspirants have accused Governor Kayode Fayemi of hijacking the process with the aim of favoring his anointed candidate.
The aspirants are Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, Dayo Adeyeye, Femi Bamidele, Bamidele Faparusi, Mr. Kayode Ojo, Demola Popoola and Mr. Olusola Afolabi.
They said, all local government officers are Fayemi and Biodun Oyebanji’s supporters who were with him during the collection of his nomination forms and at his campaign process.
They demanded that the process be delayed for some days for all to be prepared better.
All the seven aspirants are currently at the Department of State Services office in Ado-Ekiti to brief their heads on issues of the primary.
