The All Progressives Congress (APC) has won two local government areas, which results were declared in the ongoing governorship election in Ekiti State.
According to the Daily Trust, the affected local government areas include Ikere and Emure.
In the results announced at the LGA collation centre in Ikere, Abiodun Oyebanji of the APC polled 12,086 votes, followed by the Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) Bisi Kolawole, who garnered 3,789 votes, while Segun Oni of the Social Democratic Party (SDP), got 1934 votes.
APC’s Oyebanji also got 7,728 votes in the results announced in Emure, while Oni polled 3,445 votes, followed by Kolawole with 2,610 votes respectively.
