Eight persons have been arrested by Hisbah for alleged phone snatching at the Al-Furqan Mosque in Nasarawa GRA of Kano state.
This was revealed by the Commander General of the board, Sheikh Harun Ibn Sina on Tuesday.
He said the suspects were accosted consuming drugs and other intoxicants near the mosque in the afternoon.
Ibn Sina said their action forbids Muslims from engaging in immoral acts during Ramadan.
He advised people to be on the watch for suspected persons and report them to relevant authorities.
The Hisbah chief said the suspects would be handed over to relevant authorities for necessary action.
