The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) would be demanding asset declaration forms of bankers effective March 1, it’s chairman, Abdulrasheed Bawa has disclosed.
He noted that the move was in line with the provisions of the Bank, Employees Declaration of Asset Act.
“The EFCC, come June 1, 2021, will be demanding for these asset declaration forms, filled by the bankers so that the line that we have drawn from June 1 is really complied with by bankers in particular,” he noted.
He said EFCC under his leadership, would would evolve new innovations in the way it handles cases, adding that he is poised to ending financial crimes in the country.
