The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on Sunday grilled a former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, over alleged corruption and diversion of public funds.
21st CENTURY CHRONICLE gathered that Anyim arrived at the headquarters of the anti-graft agency in Jabi, Abuja at about 3pm.
A source said Ayim was grilled over a case of corruption and money laundering involving a former Aviation Minister and serving senator, Senator Stella Oduah.
Part of the rehabilitation funds to the tune of N780 million were allegedly traced to a company in which Anyim has an interest.
EFCC spokesperson, Wilson Uwujaren, is yet to issue an official statement on the development.
