An Abuja-based business woman, Aisha Achimugu has been declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The commission, in a post on Friday, said Achimugu is wanted for her alleged involvement in a conspiracy and money laundering.
It gave the lady’s age to be 51, adding that she is an indigene of Ofu Local Government Area of Kogi State and her last known address is at 6c Rudolf Close, Maitama, Abuja.
“Anybody with useful information as to her whereabouts should please contact the commission in its Ibadan, Uyo, Sokoto, Maiduguri, Benin, Makurdi, Kaduna, Ilorin, Enugu, Kano, Lagos, Gombe, Port Harcourt or Abuja offices,” the commission said in the post signed by its spokesperson, Dele Oyewale
The EFCC asked anyone with useful information about her whereabouts to send an email to the commission or contact the anti-graft agency through its dedicated mobile number or report to the nearest police station.
The Kogi Lady came into limelight last year when she spent a week celebrating her 50th birthday in Grenada.
It was learnt that she is a close ally to Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State.
She is about to receive two different awards – a Vanguard Newspapers award on April 11 and another award one on April 12 in Morocco.
Achimugu is known to be uplifting communities, granting scholarships to nearly 5,000 Nigerians, and offering employment to hundreds.
