The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has arrested 28 suspected internet fraudsters in Akwa, Enugu state.
The arrest was made on Friday by the agency’s zonal command in Akwa, Enugu state.
Seventeen of the suspects were arrested in Awka, Anambra State, according to a statement by the anti-graft agency.
The remaining 11 others were arrested in Enugu, Enugu State, following actionable intelligence on their alleged involvement in internet fraud.
