The son of Minister of Works, David Umahi, Osborne has been sworn as the Chairman of Ohaozara LGA in Ebonyi State.
Also sworn in was the brother-in-law to Governor Francis Nwifuru, Chidi Nwode as Ikwo LGA chairman.
Both young Umahi and Nwode, who is the younger brother of Nwifuru’s wife, were sworn in as along 11other newly inaugurated chairmen by Nwifuru who warned the chairmen not to give the opposition space to thrive in their areas because “charity begins from home”.
The governor also charged them to do all in their powers to deliver APC 100 per cent in 2027.
He also told the vice chairmen to work in harmony with their chairmen and avoid any acts of rivalry.
The re-elected Chairman of Afikpo LGA, Chief Timothy Nwachi, who responded on behalf of others, pledged to justify the confidence reposed in us and especially ensure that APC records a landslide in 2027.
