Vice Chancellor of the Federal University Dutse, Prof. Abdulkarim Sabo Muhammed, has appointed Abdullahi Yahaya Bello as the acting Director of Public Affairs of the university.
The appointment is with effect from March 2, 2025.
The VC, in the appointment letter signed by the University Registrar, Alhaji Abubakar Mijinyawa, congratulated the appointee and prayed to Allah to grant him success in discharging his new responsibilities.
Abdullahi graduated from the Department of Political Science, Bayero University, Kano in the year 2000. He has 25 years’ post-graduation experience as a Class Teacher, Journalist, University Administrator and Public Relations Manager.
He established the Information and Public Relations Unit of the University in 2012 as the Pioneer University Public Relations Officer (PRO).
He rose through the ranks to become the pioneer Deputy Director of the Information and Public Relations Unit in 2023 before his current appointment as the pioneer acting Director, Directorate of Public Affairs, Federal University Dutse.
He has attended many Media and Public Relations Trainings, Conferences and Workshops.
