Officials of the Department of State Security (DSS) have arrested Aisha Galadima for purportedly attacking Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani on social media.
The politician is a member of the rulling All Progressive Congress (APC) and staunch supporter of former Governor Nasiru El-Rufai.
She was arrested Sunday afternoon in her residence in Tudun Wada, Kaduna, it was learned.
Although it remains unclear who ordered her arrest, but her political friend who wished to remain anonymous confirmed that she was taken into custody by the security operatives.
“The operatives came in the afternoon to pick her to an unknown destination. It was later that we heard she posted a comment on her Facebook page against the governor,” he said.
When approached for comment, the Chief Press Secretary to the State Governor, Muhammad Lawal Shehu, advised our reporter to direct his inquiries to the DSS.
