Boko Haram terrorists have killed dozens of people in Dabna, a community in Hong local government area of Adamawa State.
The attack ignited tension in neighbouring Garka, the home country of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha.
There was conflicting information about the casualty figure. Reports said 18 bodies had been found in bushes around the affected community, but locals said 20 corpses were recovered, while many are still missing.
Sources said Dabna came under attack in the early hours of Wednesday, killing villagers and destroying properties.
The attack came about two months after a similar onslaught on Kwapre also in the same Hong local government area.
