After a 3-0 win at Augsburg, Borussia Dortmund is one victory away from securing the Bundesliga championship.
Dortmund has moved to within three points of ending Bayern Munich’s 10-year reign as German champions because of the Bavarian club’s defeat to Leipzig on Saturday.After Felix Uduokhai had been dismissed for Augsburg, Sebastian Haller, who missed the first half of the season while battling cancer, scored twice and Julian Brandt once. Dortmund would win their first Bundesliga championship in 11 years with a victory over Mainz on the last day of the season next Saturday, but anything less would give Bayern the chance to win an unprecedented 11 consecutive championships.
