District Head of Birnin Tsaba in Zurmi Local Government Area of Zamfara State, Alhaji Hashimu and his younger brother, Danbalange, have been kidnapped.
Both men were kidnapped at their homes around 4.30am on Friday.
A local, Muhammad Faruku, said the kidnappers came on motorcycles and kidnapped the brothers at their homes in Birnin Tsaba.
A relative of the men said, “The attack was launched by a notorious terrorist leader” who he said called them on phone to confirm the abduction of his brothers.
The family member said, “The terrorists’ kingpin has also threatened that since the government was aware of his confiscated motorcycles by the security agents, the victims will face their wrath.”
