During a private discussion in Davos this week, global bank and exchange executives heard from the head of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation about cybersecurity and resilience.
According to five people who attended the discussion, Christopher Wray addressed senior bankers at the World Economic Forum (WEF) annual gathering of business leaders.
The executives from the financial services industry also discussed economic threats, financial stability, and sustainability.
The confidential meeting was attended by Jamie Dimon, CEO of JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM.N), Brian Moynihan, CEO of Bank of America Corp (BAC.N), and Ana Botn, executive chairman of Banco Santander SA.
The committee also heard from Klaas Knot, President of the Dutch Central Bank and Chairman of the Financial Stability Board. According to the sources, he reviewed financial system vulnerabilities, especially the threats presented by so-called shadow banks.
