Chief of Staff to Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State, Alhaji Jabir Tsauri has been reportedly shot by Nigerian Customs Service personnel at Gora village in Malumfashi Local Government Area of the state.
Tsauri however escaped unhurt but his car was shot at the rear tyre and on the body at different spots.
Former aide of Governor Aminu Bello Masari, Sabo Musa who disclosed on his Facebook page, said the Customs officers were in plain cloth when they shot at the CoS.
The incident was also reported in Katsina Post, a local online newspaper which also reported that those who shot Tsauri were plain cloth Customs officers who had the intention to kill him.
The newspaper quoted Tsauri identifying his attackers to be Customs officers.
As at the time of this report, no word yet from the state Command of the Nigeria Customs Service nor has the state government reacted to the development.
